Growing Healthier Communities Together

Our Work

The Hispanic Women Farming Proyecto addresses a critical gap in local food and agricultural systems: the lack of accessible, culturally responsive pathways for Hispanic and Latina women to enter farming as a viable, dignified livelihood. Many women bring deep agricultural knowledge and resilience, yet face barriers such as limited access to land, capital, training, and professional networks. We are a small, grassroots initiative working to change that, one woman, one plot, and one season at a time.

Rooted in community:

  • Family garden programs in Fort Collins neighborhoods

  • Raised-bed gardens with seeds, soil, and plants provided

  • Educational farming sessions for new growers

  • Multi-family vegetable initiatives in Greeley

  • Programs that help children discover a love for fresh vegetables

When one family learns to grow food, the benefits last for generations.
